But recent attacks on John Kerry have surpassed even my expectations. There's no mystery why. Mr. Kerry isn't just a Democrat who might win: his life story challenges Mr. Bush's attempts to confuse tough-guy poses with heroism, and bombast with patriotism.

One only has to read what Bush said about Vietnam.......the shotgun to the ear or Canada or the Nat. Guard to know the lack of character and honor in the man. I thought for sure he must have said it when he in his twenties.....instead it was 1990. His shallowness knows no bound.

However, its been my experience that when a shallow man attacks an honorable one, in the end the honorable one prevails.
