Sigh. You just don't see the big picture, do you? In 2000, this wasn't an important issue because it didn't need to be. Dubya was doing just fine running on his honesty and integrity. Now that is in shreds, an issue was needed, preferably one that doesn't depend on him actually doing something but give some speeches.

Ok, it is flip-flopping. But it is nuanced flip-flopping. That is different.
