Iso, I was referring to the three black crow on the weekly HUI chart.

I had 207 as the number to watch there.

As far as the gold chart itself I was watching the bear flag developing on the monthly chart.

Wearing out the Periscope here, one more comment before I dive deep.

If candle formation holds till end of week (IF), then that is a Harami and end of trend is likely short term, i.e., down we go. OTOH, (Remember Harry Truman's need for a one armed economist??), downtrend likely to be short, and triangle breakout will trump both the three black crows and the Harami by early September after test of 385 (gap)-400(SaR) levels.

Of course the best laid plans....

Scope down, make depth 1000 feet, sonar passive, rig for Silent Running,

Maybe the last rally is not counter trend but is a resumption of the long term trend. The correction would be over.

I think big guy's point is well taken. The three black crows is usually a reliable formation, but sometimes it is just wrong. I was unaware of the bear flag on the monthly and it is very troubling. These are usually reliable signals. Nonetheless, I remain bullish unless the market doesn't rally from its seasonal low. But I am more wary now.
