Kerry took down the Cambodia story from his web site last week. The last surrogate that talked about it over the weekend admitted that Kerry was not in Cambodia over Christmas. His two crewmen that that were with him during that time and are part of the "Kerry 8" admitted last week that they were never in Cambodia with him. Kerry is doing a "Nixon." Pull down the story. Go silent on it. And give out "limited hangouts" when pressed. The last version by his lawyer on a Sunday show this weekend was that Kerry's last trip was when he went into Cambodia. I just posted last night that his book contradicts this.

In any case, he has been dining out on Cambodia for 30 years. He has made stirring speeches about having Christmas in Cambodia "seared, seared," in his memory. The WaPo editorial today confirms that the Christmas story is "no longer operative," to use the Nixon men's term.

DRUDGE says that one of his surrogates retracted on a purple heart yesterday on a radio show. The evidence from his books proves it anyway. Keep up your denial, and I will make sure to post the URL's to you as this story develops this week.
