They should keep the pressure up. The advantage to the country is that the casual, or "independent" voter is estimated by the media to "throw up his hands and sit it out." This is BS, of course. The idea of "non-political" politics is an INVENTION of the Imperial Media. A constant barrage of Swiftboat exposure is likely to INCREASE voter turn-out. But the Imperial Media (as well as the pseudo-populists, BTW) are afraid of that-because the increased turn-out is for the purpose of chasing Kerry AWAY. So who sits it out? The CLUELESS voter-the ones most susceptible to charlatans. THAT is refreshing...
