If you're waiting for Kerry himself to say he wasn't in Cambodia on Christmas 1968, you'll wait a long, long time. But his surrogates have definitely done so.

It's gone through several iterations. The most recent one is that, well, maybe he wasn't in Cambodia or even near Cambodia then but he did have secret missions on his Swiftboat where he piloted not only Navy Seals but Green Berets and CIA into Cambodia -- but nobody who has ever served with Kerry agrees with that. Nor has anybody who has ever been in any branch of the military, nor, for that matter, anybody in the CIA.

It's just Kerry's word on this. But I am sure that's all you need.

Lindy, Take your time, but I'd like to see Kerry's retraction.

You know politicians. They NEVER do a "mea culpa." Unless they are very smart. But few are that shrewd. I will relax, and enjoy having you around. The fact that the "Christmas in Cambodia" is no longer operative is a major, major, retraction by itself. The media, of course, is going, "so what?" They are are bargaining. :>)
