My heartiest congratulations! I been thinking about Kerry's Silver Star with combat "V". The award, as has been pointed out before, does not exist. Then I was thinking about the changes and enhancements to the BS and the SS certificates that Lehman signed some 10 years after Kerry was discharged. I am certain there is another phony story in that mess. My mind just can't get a handle on it yet. I have to believe Kerry's records are a real mess. I mean just what we know is already a real mess. There is no telling what else he changed or had changed or just added. There are so many ends to follow. I wonder how many of them will lead to conclusion similar to another Christmas in Cambodia denial or like the admission statement that one of the Kerry PHs was a self inflicted wound. I see why Kerry is blaming it all on GW now. The Swiftees have already forced Kerry to back off two significant parts of his hero story. He cannot continue to attack O'Neil as a liar after having admitted that O'Neil was right at least twice. The two big questions are how many more hits will it take before he is finished off and can he mount an effective counterattack? One thing for certain, the Swiftees intend to keep the pressure on and likely will increase it. I would. The Swiftees have had success. So anything they do going forward will have to get press coverage. I also think if the Hanoi Hilton POWs come forward en masse and make a statement against Kerry or Kerry's statements hurting them, it will be over. I do think it is laughable that Kerry admits Cambodia at Christmas was a lie and admits, last night, that the wound that got him one of his PHs was self-inflicted and today gives a speech saying GWB is running a smear campaign. Now that I think about it, it isn't laughable at all. Either Kerry thinks we are stupid or he himself is really dumb. Either should disqualify him. uw
