David Brooks' editorial in todays NY Times is very complimentary of Kerry's passion in 1971, and says that compared to then, he's now a "pompous prevaricator."

Memo to Lindy - David Brooks is NYTimes token conservative, he's the author of the "Bobo" books, about cultural changes in the American landscape, and he's very funny, I think.

David Brock is the guy who said the nasty stuff about Anita Hill ("a little bit nutty and a little bit slutty") in the American Spectator, broke the Paula Jones story in the same rag, then announced that he was gay and no longer a Republican, and is now making his living attacking Republicans instead of Democrats. He's a piece of work. He was a piece of work when he was attacking Democrats, too.
