Those same good ole boys, had large farms, and ranches, with many share croppers, who were all black, and treated exactly like there slave ancestors were treated, so the big boss did their voting for them, and demanded that they sign there name to the ballot.


And you know what the sons of those old boys call themselves now? Republicans.

haqi, The good ol' boy Democrats were actually the conservatives in those days. And they were horrible. Shoot, I think LBJ was as evil as Dubya and he killed more people. Jim Wright was as corrupt as Cheney or DeLay. One of my friends in the Army came from a Republican family in Texas and their good ol' neighbors burned their barn down for being Republicans.
