You might want to suggest to your daughter that she and her classmates lodge a protest with administration and get that hack out of her teaching position. She might also want to say to the teacher, "Yes, I have heard of communism, it's a failed system (just ask former rulers of the Soviet Union), and what's your beef with capitalism? You seem to have a soft position here in Chapel Hill, teaching impressionable minds." Carolyn, we need to take back the educational institutions of this country from these incredibly out of touch people.
