Bill,, the MRI is OK,, he really does not have metal in his leg, just rice in his head thats why he has that hairdo. Also, he admits he has "rice in my ass",, now we know the reason for all that hair..

I would never undergo a medical procedure just to prove a political point. Nor ask anyone to do so.

Every medical procedure has some risk involved. Also, the health care providers have serious problems to take care of. I'd be happier if he donated the money to someone in need.

When I had an MRI for my shoulder they only inserted me into the machine to cover my head and that area. I don't know how far the magnet pulls.

It depends on the metal, the type and the location.

I have had at least 5 maybe 6 MRI/MRAs in the past 7-8 years. My right Humerus is metal from just above the elbow to and including the ball and I have plates and screws like molley bolts in the shoulder. That is all secure and OK and I know mine is all metal except for one nylon plate. This accounts for about 12-13 of the 36-37 inches of scars I have from duty. Newer versions are I believe ceramic or some other compound. That was not a problem and the radiologist told me it would not interfere and it didn't.

But when I mentioned loose stuff, before the first MRI, they went looking. I had all visible removed years ago and none was found.

I would say, Kerry never got an MRI with loose metal in his bod. He is lying again.

Anybody surprised?
