I just read a quote from CNN, something to the effect that first O'Neill tells Nixon he was in Cambodia then says he was on the border. I dunno, this seems pretty thin beer to me.

I have no idea whether O'Neill has ever said he wasn't in Cambodia. The people in the book who actually served with Kerry say that Kerry was never in Cambodia, but O'Neill himself never served with Kerry.

If O'Neill says he was on the border of Cambodia, what does that prove? Still waiting for my copy of the book . . . .

As an amateur historian, I don't really mind the tape being made public, let the truth come out and let the chips fall where they may, but I can't help but wonder who bootlegged the tape.
