gotta sell them war bonds...making heroes is nothing new. from what i've seen and heard, Kerry defends that which he can, and obfuscates the rest, (scratched included) that tells me there is some crap in the yard. yeah, they also tried to say she fought like hell before being captured, turns out she never fired a shot...it's crap.

Heres the difference and why IMHO Jessica IS a hero and Kerry is a PHONY. Kerry fought in combat, I will go on to even say he performed no less heroically then his FELLOW COMRADES. BUT, Kerry blew HIMSELF up to be THE HERO at the expense of his COMRADES. Jessica never actually FOUGHT so far as I know, but she was VICTIMIZED and rather then cry about it and attempt to make herself out to be something she wasnt, she quietly redonned her uniform and has NEVER tried to claim she was something she wasnt. Can you not see the DIFFERENCE between the two? I am PROUD of Jessica, I am NOT PROUD of Kerry. Believe me, he has done NOTHING that THOUSANDS of others in the same location did. We dont brag, we dont even tell you about our INDIVIDUAL exploits. We dont HAVE TOO. We know, our comrades know, and that is ENOUGH for us. jdn
