I think all of us would wish to avoid War. But, as Benjamin Franklin once said, "an Ounce of Prevention, is worth a pound of cure". Can you imagin where we would be if we HADNT kicked Saddam out of Kuwait? Should we have finally kicked him and his sons out of power in Iraq? Thats a debatable question, and I suggest we wont be SURE of the answer for at least another 5 years. IF Iraq turns out as President Bush would like, YES it was worth it. IF Iraq turns into a Shia power base linked up to Iran, NO it was a big mistake. Now, who is more likely to see the RIGHT outcome? My money is on President Bush. jdn
