Chris, lets presume that kerry not only EARNED his medals but deserved EVEN MORE. Do you think that qualifies him to be President of the United States?
I personally view his Vietnam experience as ODD cause I never before heard of someone with a movie camera reenacting his battle scenes, I never heard before (didnt even know it was possible) of anyone coming home after 3 VERY MINOR WOUNDS (that is indisputable even Kerry says so), other then Jane Fonda I am unaware of a SINGLE other veteran of that conflict meeting with REPRESENTATIVES OF NORTH VIETNAM during peace talks then coming home and doing his best to stir up the American people against their government. Those things alone IMHO are sufficient for me to rate his Vietnam experience as ANTI PRESIDENTIAL. BUT, even more, no one seems to be talking about his REALLY INCONSEQUENTIAL SENATE RECORD, his history of laziness and failure to represent the people of Mass. His PUPPY DOG following of Ted Kennedy. HIS INABILITY to establish anything of his own requiring him to marry into wealth not once but TWICE, divorcing his first wife when he though she might be a political liability due to mental illness (which mysteriously seems to have gone away after he was out of her life). All in all, one has to find his CHARACTER very SUSPECT. Surely, if you will look at the record dispassionately you will see what I am talking about. jdn

"Thurlow stood by his claim that there was no gunfire that day and said his Bronze Star documents were wrong."

Wonder if anyone has asked Thurlow if he plans on returning his Bronze Star?
