"For a wingnut, you're not too dumb!"

LOL.
I was never that enamored with rove and co. last time around. Whether they are in on Swifty or not or McCain in 2000 or not, these things have a way of backfiring and causing backlash at some point. Being a bushie for a variety of reasons that i wont go into at this time, I would urge the bushies to reign in the swiftys. Only chance bush has to have a clear win, and not a defeat or god forbid another tie, is to get some moderate/independent support. It is ironic but i think if the election were held today bush wins the pop vote and kerry the electoral. I remember in the early stages of 2000 election some pundit predicted bush pop victory and gore electoral victory. The way the states are aligned in 2004 make this outcome far more likely than the reverse. Will the dems forfeit to bush if this occurs in the name of majority rule? Will SCOTUS reverse their 2000 decision on appeal and use that precedent to declare bush the victor again? Wonder if Rove has someone filing that 2000 election suit right now, just in case. (g) Mike
