I know of one case, SVGI, where a company reported orders beyond 12 months but stated that only orders in the next 12 months are reported as backlog. Perhaps UTEK is a fundamentalist religious sect whose most important commandment is "thou shalt not show orders on the books that are more than 12 months out even if it might add a little credibility to your dismal historical record."
