Miracle of Miracles! California in Play?

electoral-vote.com

According to the Many people have asked me what gives with California. There was a poll from Survey USA on Aug. 18 where Kerry's margin was only 3%

Bush: 46%
Kerry 49%

And in Florida, the Gallup Poll of August 22 has Bush ahead by 2% [points:

Bush 48 %
Kerry 46 %

This is astounding news. It means for one thing that Kerry and Company are going to have to spend some of their remaining millions in California, a state that was supposed to be a Kerry lock.

It also means that something is going on in the great American Electorate that spells bad news for the John Kerry (the searching for Cambodia) Democratic candidate.

Keep on keeping on, Swift Boat Vets. Can't you see that safe harbor in sight? You guys are winning this war!

I would hold off on the "desperate" designation until we find out how it plays in the media -- this obviously was designed to attract wide media attention.

So far the anti-Kerry swift campaign has hardly budged poll numbers. Mike's fear that it will eventually hurt Bush may turn out to be right. TWT.
