Nadine. 1. Gardner says he wasn't present at any of the events that deal with Kerry's medals. If you are saying he is lying about this, too, you may be right. BTW, when one guy stands out from the rest, the also rans on other boats may become jealous. That's the way another swift boat commander remembers it: postgazette.com And if I was Gardner, I might be a bit concerned about my commander being too aggressive.

2. O'Neill is a Republican hit man. He was handpicked by Colson to "get Kerry." He is now trying to hide these connections. There is no question he is either lying about his co-author now or was previously, as his various stories cannot all be true. He has consistently lied about his funding by Republican contributors and the connection to Bush campaign officers with the Swiftie organization. How more specific can I be? The man opens his mouth and out comes a lie. You wingnuts would rather believe lies than examine what a person says.

3. Every time Thurlow is caught in a contradiction with himself, he looks for another bit of plausible deniability.

4. The lie that Bush released his records is one Republicans use regularly. The only thing he hasn't released is the records for the time in Alabama that has been questioned since he first ran for governor. He's using the mushroom technique: keep the dummies in the dark and bury them in horseshi-. It works on Republicans.

5. Since the slimers call the official records "Kerry lies," how could more official records ever change their wee little minds?
