Kerry doesn't care about Max. The guy is being used just like the others who stand by him.

I have a hard time believing Kerry would send Max Cleland to Crawford Texas if the Swift Boat story was helping him. It's 96 degrees in Crawford at the present, old Max isn't a thin man nor a young man. Let's hope they keep Cleland well air-conditioned. I must say, this is starting to look desperate. Kerry cries "Bring it on!" when he's not crying "Call it off!" Do they really expect Bush to single out the Swiftvets and tell them to shut up? Free speech is for Dem 527s only? I hope Bush suggests that Kerry file a 180. After all, that's what Bush had to do.
