Thats the best reason for not adding new members to the club. Israel wouldnt really be at risk if iran wasnt developing nukes. I guess you could make the case that a giant persian/arab army marching to defeat israel---100 million vs 12 million would face nukes but thats only fair given the numbers involved and is what deterrence is all about. OTOH israel isnt a nuke threat to the arabs as long as they are nuke free. This is reason behind israeli developmen in the first place. And it was a wise decision it seems. mike
