Cleland asked. "To attack a fellow veteran who has distinguished himself ... in combat, regardless of the political combat involved, is disgraceful."

Does this mean that Kerry is going to apologize to Oliver North?

Uh, somebody clarify this for me. Isn't attacking fellow veterans who had distinguished themslves in combat exactly, precisely what Kerry did himself in his testimony before Congress?

If you think committing war crimes is "distinguished" you would have been great on the night shift at Abu Ghraib.

And while we're at it, did Kerry ever demand that the MoveOn ads attacking Bush, including those equating him with Hitler, be taken off the air and off the web?

Can we spell double standard??

You should look that up. I've posted the links several times...I've gotten tired of doing that.

Poor old Max Cleland. Smeared himself by the Rove/Bush political machine, stumping his wheelchair up to the President's gate in the brutal August Crawford heat to deliver a letter complaining about the continual smears of Vietnam vets by the Rove/Bush lie machine. Our President, President of ALL Americans, refused to see him. Refused to sit in the air conditioning with a triple amputee and discuss an American veteran's issues over a cool ice tea.
With his one arm, Cleland would have appreciated an ice tea. George W. Bush is a worthless punk.

That Hitler ad was never on the air. It was on Moveon.org's website. The ad was not even made by moveon, but was an entry in a contest. As soon as the ad was discovered Moveon removed it. Had moveon not removed the ad, maybe Kerry would have had to say something.

Kerry did condemn a moveon ad that talked about Bush's military career. Bush should condemn the ads from the SBVFB, because they are not honorable...but we all know he won't...as Rove is behind those ads in the first place.
