I hope your general point isn't that third party candidates are, ipso fact, inferior to candidates run by the two major parties, whatever they are calling themselves over time. Nope. Just that merely because a person stands for something doesn't mean they would be a good President. Your line was "I'd rather see Nadar, at least he believes in something." My point only is that believing in something isn't quite enough; what you believe in matters. Of course you know that. I was just doing a bit of gentle, I hope, leg pulling.
