Tim, His recent comments arguing that organizations from the Swfitboat Veterans for Truth to Moveon.org to the Florida Transportation Builders' Assn, (see list of 527 orgs at opensecrets.org should be shut out of the political debate concerns me. I oppose such a further restriction on free speech.

If campaign finance reform is to work, further restrictions on free speech are necessary.

The alternative is to do away with this nonsense, but unfortunately most people believe the half-truth that money corrupts politics.

To an extent my vote for Bush will be a vote for the lesser of two evils. Not completely because I like some of what Bush has done but his record on spending is very bad, and he hasn't contained the growth of federal regulation. How can your voting for Bush be "the lesser of two evils" when Bush is evil and Kerry is the good guy?
