OT: Long term the volatility indices vs the SOX are the best indicators of a real bottom that I have ever found. The monthly charts of stocks in the sector almost all match up to bottoms when the VIX/VXO/VXN are spiking way up.

Right now I think that sometimes the best trade might be no trade at all. That is unless you feel like shorting something. Historically since 1950 the worst month of the year in the stock market is September:

Checking AMAT you will find that buying September has resulted in some large losses but buying early in October is usually a great idea.

Lets see what NVLS has to say. I'm hoping it will be good. I want to unload my AMAT and MU and go short.
