What did Ollie North have to say on Hannity tonight?

He said he was duplicitous in the Iran-Contra illegal swap of drugs for arms.

He won a silver star and a bronze star like Kerry, he said I think he was wounded 5 times, but turned down the purple hearts so he could remain with his men.

He said the issue was not the medals to him, but the comments Kerry made about the war crimes.
He said it was very personal to him. His opponent on the
debate (Bectel?) asked if Ollie if had seen or heard of
any war crimes. Ollie said not under his command, but of course he knew it did exist. Colmes argued Kerry's remarks helped end the war sooner.

The point that everyone seems to miss, IMO, is war should
not be ran by polls. It makes us weak and ineffective.
And Kerry contributed to our failure and endangered the remaining soldiers. And much of what he said was exaggerated or was untrue. Rule 1 we should have learned is don't blame the soldier. This country needs to debate the issue before going to war (WE DID before Iraq) and then stay commited. If we fail the mission, we should not become imobolized to act again.
