He's a liar and the only reason he has a chance is because his wife is wealthy. I'm not so sure that his wife's wealth has anything to do with it. He's plotted for his presidential bid since high school, and certainly since he entered the military and proceeded as a JFK wannabe. I suspect that's why his senate record is so unremarkable. With the exception of a few "causes" that he thought might get him face time, he kept his head down and enjoyed the perqs of office, while biding his time. He's shown his true colors and lack of presidential disposition this past week. He plunged headlong into the counter attack on the swiftvets with a petulant vengeance. And all the whining! If he can't handle the heat of the swiftvets, which he evidently can't, then he lacks the testicular fortitude to be POTUS, imo.
