Tina should read "Kerry's Lost Opportunity" from the WSJ OpinionJournal today. It's an excellent analysis of the "Vietnam problem," from Kerry's POV and the nation's. Quote:

The predominant quality revealed in Mr. Kerry's spinning and unspinning his personal history in the Vietnam era is that, like everything else in his political life (from the SUVs he owns but doesn't own, to the medals he tossed but didn't toss, to the war in Iraq he supports but doesn't support), he's trying to have it both ways. But because of how the Vietnam era tore this country apart and still weighs on the nation's political soul, Mr. Kerry's trying to have it both ways about that war is so much more telling than his SUV moment or even his flip-flops on the current war.

Silly old Tina Brown doesn't realize that at age 51, she's nearly an OLD leftist warrior herself. Here's her less than impressive bio....She does fit into the category of those who don't have the sense God gave geese....

Tina Brown

magazine publisher
Born: 11/21/53
Birthplace: Maidenhead, England

Christina Hambley Brown graduated from St. Anne's College, Oxford University, in 1974. After working as a reporter for several publications, she was named editor of the Tatler magazine at the age of 25. Brown rejuvenated the publication, vastly increasing circulation. In 1984, she became editor of the American monthly magazine Vanity Fair. During her eight years as editor, Brown pioneered celebrity journalism and became one of the most visible magazine editors in the country. In 1992, Brown was asked to revive the flagging fortunes of the venerable literary magazine, The New Yorker. Brown introduced photography and used shorter articles, increasing circulation. The magazine still lost money. In 1999 Brown launched Talk magazine, but had to close it down in 2001. She hosts a show on CNBC, Topic A with Tina Brown and writes a column for The Washington Post Style section. She and her husband, Harold Evans, who was the editor at The London Times and editorial director at U.S. News & World Report, have two children.
