Why don't you grow up, Chinu? Kerry and the Democrat party stood by for months allowing and encouraging several 527 groups to tear down Bush in any number of despicable ways. The FEC was not interested in intervening. Since May, pro-Bush 527's have sprung up in response to the lack of FEC action and the highly funded and persistent pro- Dem, pro-Kerry, anti-Bush 527 campaigns. The Kerry 527's have outspent their opposites by 50 to 1. In a prior race, Kerry and his opponent agreed not to use soft money. When asked about that kind of arrangement in this election, Kerry said that the cat was already out of the bag. This was in 5/04 after the FEC refused action requested by the Bush people. He also made some comment to the effect that it was tough that the Republicans were late to the 527 party. Now that 527's have attacked him, Kerry can't handle the heat. The hallmark of a President is the ability to take it and to stand up. Kerry can't, and hasn't.
