Why do you think that is? Could it have something to do with the free money? Interest rates are at historical lows...because of Bush's failed economics. Many believe were are in the midst of a growing housing bubble. 55 million citizens are free, but can't go outside for fear of being killed. We've promised to rebuild their countries after bombing the heck out of them, but have FAILED to deliver on that promise. Most in those countries hate us and want us out. We've humiliated ourselves and our country with the prison scandal. We've forever ceded the moral high ground on human rights. We've shown the world that a lawyer can argue for the legality of torture, that our Sec of Def can claim torture of POWs and civilians is ok because 'he stands for 8 hours a day', and that the Constitution can be selectively applied for political purposes. But at least we kicking butts in the Olympic medals department!
