I cannot vote for the guy with the matches in his hand and his face blackened from his experience.

I'd rather have a CIC that has been in harm's way and knows what battle is really like.

The free enterprise spirit that this country is recognized for involves setting out is search of the unknown for the better. THis nation would not have been born if it were not for the free enterprising spirit where they dumped what they had because it was bad and went in search of the new.

We can apply the same approach to the upcoming election for a President. All we need to do is make a informed choice. We know what Bush has done for the past 4 years. We ask if we want this for the next 4 years just like what the people did in 1996 where they had to choose between a war hero and Clinton. They chose Clinton because he fulfilled their expectations. Bush has not done so. It has been blunder after blunder; Iraq a quagmire, economy going nowhere with no firm economic policy from DC, seniors unhappy with their Medicare situation, security has not improved with the raised level of alert that is in force etc.
