Seems to me that you have it right. They both got medals for the same day of action, and both records state they were under fire. There are far too many holes in the stories to make them credible. Chris Mathews grilled one of the Swifties right down into a pile of sweat. I think that what the Bush administration has most to fear is the blow back that is likely to result from these scurilous attacks, which are linked to the same negative ads used against McCain and Cleland.
