If one excludes Silicon Gulch, the SF Bay Area, and La La Land, California is populated by people who lean mostly to the conservative.
Yeah. If one excludes the human population of CA, CA is conservative.

Something like 80% of the population of the state is in the areas you mention. This is no surprise. While the Central Valley has some small cities, it is largely farmland and by definition sparsely populated. The northern part of the state is forest, also sparsely populated.

So when it comes to voting, it's LaLaLand, San Diego, and the SF Bay Area. And overall they vote Democratic.

I'll think about what I'll have for that dinner. You'll have crow.
