it continues to mystify me why schachte has not come forward and expressed all this in his own words. i have read or heard o'neill on tv express that admiral shachte would come forward on his own schedule to confirm this situation with the boston whaler purple heart. the discrepancy between what schachte allegedly will say and zaldonis and runyon have said is a large gulf. it would seem that if kerry Knows schachte on the same boston whaler, he would plead forgetfullness and say so. i don't think kerry wants to be put in a position to be calling an admiral a liar.

also does anyone know where admiral schacte lives nowadays? is he in the usa?

Kerry's explanations become more and more tortured, and they still refuse to release the entirety of the records. They have not even produced an after-action report for 2 December that would support any indication of inbound enemy fire. Why? From all indications, it doesn't exist.

They have not produced anything to prove Cambodia either. Why? It doesn't exist.
