I think that Kerry could go back to the UN and allies, and get them to take a real share of the burden Do you live under a rock? At the end of June, the country was turned over to the Iraqi people. The heavy lifting our military performed is over. We don't need any help from wimp French and German peacekeepers. We got 30 countries there already, thats an international force already, awaiting direction from the intermim Iraqi PM. Nobody invaded them. If we had really invaded them, we had the capability to kill everybody in-country and take their oil. Its called the Neutron bomb. Oh yea and in Vietnam, they did a super job of rebuilding their country. The first think the North Vietnamese did was commit genocide in the south from any even suspected of wanting to resist their evil North Vietnamese invaders.

First off the French have said UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES would they send any troops to Iraq. I believe the Russians also indicated such. Not sure about the Germans. So that destroys much of that Kerry arguement. Second you are presupposing that Bush is disliked in Iraq. I am not so sure that is true with the majority of the Iraqui's. We are now in a supporting role, as each month goes by, our role diminishes and the Iraqi defense forces role increases. jdn
