If Kerry hadn't brought his Vietnam record to the forefront of this campaign, I wouldn't think twice about it. But by doing so, he has invited this close inspection about what actually happened. So far, it looks to me that Kerry's version of events is dishonest.

Already, he has backed off on "the turning point of his life" spending Christmas 1968 in Cambodia on Nixon's orders. He has backed off on getting his first PH due to enemy fire. He now admits both stories were false. If not for O'Neill's book, neither admission would be forthcoming.

He has a BIG credibility problem, at least with those of us who are following this controversy close enough.

These Bush supporters are like people who buy a crap car. As long as they still own the car, they'll recommend it highly to you, even though they know it's a piece of crap. No one likes to admit buying crap. Once it's gone, after a while, they'll admit the truth. Same with Bush. No one in 2000 could have predicted what a crap President he would turn out to be. Now we know...
