Excellent points. I think options make great sense when market caps are small and the dilution is small compared to the growth potential.

MSFT stopped the options because the largest shareholder is Bill Gates and he is no fool.

FWIW, I believe Chambers is an honest, well intentioned man... but I'm not buying his stock.
[Except for a potential trade (probably more for grandstanding than money making as there are more volatile stocks with better valuation I prefer) if it seems a good thing to do.]
