I agree with taking a limited loss early. I have done that so many times. It has saved me lots of headaches, but at times when the stock bounces right back it is hard to swallow. Overall, it has been a good strategy.

Some excellent trading rules (I'm trying to implement them now) along with your suggestions as well. I'm comfortable enough holding AMAT and MU as long term positions but that's true only because I have so much more available cash to invest.
