Ya know, you kind of start off with a good sounding argument. Had me interested. Then, in what has become vogue for the Dems, Liberals, Socialists, Communists, anarchists, whomever, you get into a total disrespectful tone about the President, and call names.

It tends to really dampen any salient point you might have had when you call your CIC a smirking chimp.

You see, in poker that would be called a "tell" and it would maybe be equivalent to jumping up and down screaming at the top of your lungs, that you had a royal flush, and then you would be confused as to why no one stayed in the game with you. You don't get to talk with many Repubs, or debate any points because you make your position clear with such names. So, most Republican type people and most middle of the road people dismiss you as a lightweight, Bush hater with nothing to say except party rhetoric. No original ideas, nothing except empty hate over Gore losing an election.

You may try & say that your opinion is different, that you are thinker, that Bush has really failed us and this is how, and this is how, and this is how. Some people would entertain an argument so structured.

But your superior attitude, insulting the President who is coming off a helluva lot smarter than Kerry lately, and calling him juvenile names, immediately discounts your points, and in my case, lumps you in with a group who is still mad Gore lost, still mad we have an electoral college, still mad Clinton could not run again, and still thinks Gore won Florida. This makes you not worth listening to, or really worth debating. Your mind is made up for the wrong reasons, or it appears as so with such statements as you have just made.

Of course, I am not worth debating either. I will admit Bush has his flaws, he has done several things that royally pissed me off and made me consider voting for another. But all you have to offer is Kerry. That is a joke. I'll stay with Bush over Mr Kerry any day of the week. Mind made up, the rest of the arguments are noise. Bush has my vote, unless it comes out he caused 9/11 or he deliberately lied about WMDs and Iraq. Then he would have to go.

I think we have to respectfully disagree and leave it at that. Anything else is wasted bandwidth. Good luck in November. Your candidate will need it.
