If your on the classic SI interface, it's hard to see, but towards the top pf the page is the text "Test-drive the New Silicon Investor while it's under development!" with "New Silicon Investor" underlined. Click on that. A new window will open on the "dev" site. At the top left you will see a box labellled "Search". Enter part of the name of the thread your after (like "President", but without quotes). Click Submit. You get a list od threads. Click the one you want. Say "John Kerry for President". It opens. At the top left at the end of a line of text you will see "Bans(13)". Click "13".
