at least SBUX offers them health insurance and probably better pay than the average local coffee shop. You're absolutely right. SBUX set the standard for doing right by their employees. They were the first major franchise to give part time workers full time benefits, and their pay scale is quite generous as well. From what I hear, Howard Schultz treats his people well, supports lots of local charities very generously, and all things considered is a pretty decent guy. If only he could figure out how to get us miserably suffering Sonic fans a decent team! PS - Even though I can afford it, I won't pay $5 for a cup 'o joe no matter what they put in it!
