Kerry DID NOT bring up the military as a campaign issue, that's yet another RNC lie (they have so many): 1. Bush used 911 to paint himself God-appointed Protector of the USA against the Muslim hoardes (channeling the Crusades in his disturbed mind). The only prop he didn't use was a big red cape and/or flaming sword. 2. Bush STARTED A WAR for Halliburton and oil. He then proclaimed himself the wartime president and his minions began calling everyone who opposed Bush 'unpatriotic' and 'treasonous'. 3. Bush continued to proclaim the WAR ON TERROR as a permanent fixture while his minions kept yammering about wartime presidents don't get booted out because it lends help to the enemy. 4. The polls showed Bush losing on everything domestically while leading on defense. 5. Kerry, being the ACTUAL warrior, went head-to-head against Bush's lies. Them thar's the chronology. Bush started it and, as usual, mucked it up and is calling on Poppy's friends to fix his gaffes. Bush didn't go AWOL. He DESERTED. It is irrational to think that Bush cannot find a single document or credible individual to say that he was serving. NOT A SINGLE ONE. Bush-the-Deserter has been an issue since his gubanatorial campaign. IF there was ANY credible evidence, don't you think Bush would have taken out full page ads in Texas newspapers to put this story to rest? It has been a decade and NO ONE HAS FOUND ANYTHING. The rational thing is to believe that NO EVIDENCE EXISTS because BUSH DESERTED. Negative attacks are used in politics because they work. The RNC is many, many times more vicious in using outright lies and perverted insinuations. Now that the DNC is fighting back, the RNC has taken to its usual cowardly stance of whining and complaining. - The RNC attacked Cleland for only losing 3 limbs and doing so during an accident in Vietnam. Bush lost no limbs, never went to Vietnam and Bush is supposed to be superior to Cleland whom they ground into dirt? - The RNC attacked McCain for having a 'black baby' and drove his wife into some kind of nervous breakdown. McCain has an adopted daughter from Bangladesh. The RNC is pure, despicable evil.
