And I was making sure that you were not making odious comparisons. Such as comparing FDR and Bush II in any way other than the trivial. They both were/are leaders of their countries. One suffered Polio, the other joined the National Guard. One surrounded himself with people who wanted to protect the US, the other has surrounded himself with people who want to protect Israel and secure oil reserves. One planned for the period after the war, the other didn't. One set in action the development of the A bomb, the other wants to send a man to Mars. One reacted to an attack immediately, the other spent 7 minutes reading a children's book before disappearing for a few hours. History has judged FDR and will judge Bush II.
