..."goodbye to air travel ...." Might as well get used to it as oil prices will continue to rise as China and India compete for oil to run their economies. Just not enough to go around. Instead of air travel we'll have internet connections for business meetings.

Could it be an oil-rich region of the former Soviet Union fighting an ugly, desperate and extremely nasty "war" to free themselves from Moscow? Or is this just "bad" people killing innocent victims for sport? Win? What does that mean?

Consider the economic consequences and panic if those had been American aircraft. Now the Russians also have a problem. They already had one. Nothing new. Fortunately, America doesn't have a similar problem. We have no natural enemies, only ones we seek out. We have to get the terrorists on their home grounds before they can act. So when should we start bombing N Ireland? This WOT is going to be unique with hidden battles, difficult scorekeeping and elusive targets. Which makes it very difficult to find a clear explanation for the public of its necessity. Oh, there's a simple solution to that problem that works every time. Lie, lie, lie. Tell the people they are under attack and you can literally get away with murder.
