::yawn:: What exactly would have Al Gore have done? Sprang to attention, jumped up ran out of the room, got on Air Force One and been in the air circling, 7 minutes earlier than Bush. Oh wow, be still my beating heart at dashing bravery of getting on Air Force One quicker. Ya know, focusing on those seven minutes is a lot like focusing Christmas in Cambodia. Pointless! And don't say Gore would not have gotten on AF1. The Secret Service rules during those times and the intial response and actions is governed by them.
