AWOL BUSH went AWOL. Why do you support that?
What POTUS claiming to be a commander in chief would have any credibility when he himself shirked duty and lied about it, along with his running mate. Bush-Cheney are big phonies when it comes to military matters. They talk the talk but when it was their turn, they ran and hid.

Kerry was not a turncoat!

Slimeballs like O'Neill and the Smear Vets (Swifties) tried to make him look like one.

He slandered his 2.6 former Vietnam comrades

Nope, Kerry told the truth. That's what the war mongers hate about him. That's what you hate about him. Truth is always the enemy of the war monger, because wars are invariably built on a foundation of lies.

The Vietnam War was hideous and based on huge lies from LBJ through Nixon. See Robert McNamara's confession in "The Fog Of War". Rent it on DVD. Dont take it from me and certainly not from the far rightwing vets.

You'll then see how noble and courageous Kerry was for exposing the ugly side of the war the government was hiding from us. Kerry saved thousands of lives doing what he did and NEVER claimed the 2.6 vets or SwiftVets were guilty of atrocities. He just claimed he'd been told about such atrocities and had even taken part in them himself per the rules of engagement in the free fire zones.

The whole war had become a big atrocity by then, though only a small percentage of vets actually took part in them. Things like Agent Orange and napalm were also atrocities by today's standards. Basically the whole war also had no point. Who was the enemy and why? Those questions could not be answered then or now. Why did 55,000 Americans die? Why did we keep escalating without a clear plan, moral vision or mission? What the hell were we doing there in the first place? Thet collosal blunder and pack of lies is real atrocitiy.

One thing we know though, AWOLBUSH, DElay and Cheney didn't want any part of it. They all dodged and hid.
