Bush's smear campaign against McCain in 2000 now becomes a key issue and focus going into the convention.

As they pick only moderates to speak at the convention (except for Cheney and Zell Miller) the focus will be on McCain and the fact that Bush dumped the same tub of BS on him in 2000 in order to win. But we cannot reward cheaters and liars again. This is a better country than that.
