Geez Lizzie, just because the guy sells stock doesn't make him a moron.

A VP can be quite good, even if they sell their stock. One of my favorite vp's at msft (who is very hardworking and quite good) never holds his stock aside from a few shares (and he probably regrets it too, certainly as the stock was splitting during the 90s). But he also isn't interested in becoming a ceo, unless he decides to improve this aspect over time.
