Technically, AWOL is a crime which means a mandatory drafting into the Army for four years of KP duty.

Technically, you'd have to already be in the military BEFORE you could be AWOL.

Oh, and the brig and "KP duty" are not the same thing. Also, sentences are set by the court martial, after a fair trial.

But never mind your technical ignorance - you didn't address the point. By your logic and his own filtered records, Kerry was AWOL for seven and a half months in 1970. Should he "report for duty" at the brig or the kitchens?
