Bush's poll numbers ticking back down now. I think the peak of disinformation from the smear campaign came about 3-4 days ago when the networks were covering it as the lead story and playing that pack of lies SmearVets clip over and over. But now the tide has turned. Kerry has had two good days in the press. More vets who were actually there have disproven the smears and we are back to an exact tie. Smear campaiugns like this always boomerang. Kerry now has 10 weeks to defeat a pack of lies, phony promises, gifts to the rich and failed Bush policies. Bush will try to keep smearing, covering up failures, pretending to be a moderate after 4 years of hardline rightwing rule and using scare tactics to try and hoodwink the public but in the end, don't put any money on Bush winning. Even if Bush wins Florida and Ohio he looks is weak enough to be beaten.
